Our coaches are our bread and butter and we value a gym culture where you feel seen and heard. We hire coaches who are friendly, motivating, and goal-oriented. We want to make you feel comfortable, and we want to provide you with the best gym experience possible to help you achieve your fitness goals. All of our coaches come with a unique background of educational studies and fitness experience. Meet our awesome team!

Tony

Co-owner/Coach

Hello everyone, my name is Tony! I got my undergrad in agricultural business from New Mexico State University and my masters in sports management from West Virginia University. I love helping clients achieve their fitness goals while pushing them out of their comfort zones! More importantly, I love helping the clients find an escape where they can enjoy themselves while becoming a better version of themselves every single day. During the day I am a crop supervisor for Olam Spices. For fun, I play with a cover band in which I play the drums, bass, and guitar!

Chelsey

Hello beautiful people! My name is Chelsey, I am one of the Co-Owners and Trainers/Coaches of Resilient Fitness! Health, wellness, and fitness truly is one of my greatest passions! I received my Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation from Brooklyn College in 2018. Yes, it’s true––New York City really does have the best pizza! I currently work as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab where I specialize in creating exercise programs for patients who are recovering from various heart procedures (heart attacks, open heart surgery, heart valve surgeries, chronic heart failure, heart transplants, you name it!) When I’m not at work you can find me at the gym, competing in fitness competitions, or playing recreational sports such as volleyball, ping pong, and racquetball! Fun fact about me is that I’m ambidextrous!

Hey guys! I began coaching in 2017 while pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Engineering from NMSU. I enjoy helping people get out of their comfort zone, assisting clients set and reach new goals they never thought they could achievable. In addition, I enjoy giving back to the community through small events held at Resilient Fitness. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places and the history behind it. In 2020, I graduated from NMSU with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Hi! My name is Domenica and I am from El Paso, Texas. I started coaching in the Summer of 2017. I am currently a full time student at NMSU studying Animal Science. I love to ride horseback, hike, and eat a good piece of steak!

Hey, everyone, I’m Alex! Let me ask you something...Are you where you want to be, physically? Mentally? I have struggled to reach my optimal self, be happy, and to have the energy to do the things I want to do. I have found that physical fitness has been an important part of my journey to reach physical and mental wellness. I strive to help clients get to that place too. Growing up in Southeast New Mexico, I learned helping others was something I wanted to do in life. I graduated from NMSU with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Dance. I did this because I wanted to chase my two passions: physical fitness and dance, specifically ballroom dancing. Here at Resilient, I am a HIIT personal trainer. When you take a class with me, you will experience energy, laughter, encouragement, and being pushed out of your comfort zone so you can reach and surpass your goals! After my first year as a professional personal trainer, I was awarded 2nd place in the Mesilla Valley for 2022 Best Personal Trainer. Here at Resilient Fitness, my clients and peers voted me the “Badass Trainer of the Year“ and “2022 MVP Trainer." My clients mean the world to me. Aside from my personal training, I’m also a dance instructor, teaching all kinds of people how to enjoy ballroom and country western dancing. For fun I like to spend time with my family and friends, go hiking, and travel around this great country to see what amazing things are in this world. So when you’re ready, let’s do this! I’ll get you to your goals!

Hi everyone my name is Stephanie! I’m a coach at Resilient fitness as well as a Kindergarten teacher. I’m also a mom of two crazy boys. My passion is to help people change their lives in the most simple yet realistic ways. I believe that fitness should enrich your life. Therefore it’s important to enjoy your training! It should never feel like a chore. Remember, you’ll never regret a workout!

Hi I'm Rachel! I'm a graduate student at NMSU studying Nutrition Science to become a Registered Dietitian! I would love to teach in the future and also bring my nutrition services to the gym! I love all things fitness including CrossFit and hiking. My favorite food is popcorn. In my spare time, I'm a substitute teacher for LCPS and I coach for this amazing gym!
